We decided at the last minute to go see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at Bright Leaf Drive-In in Mt. Airy. Awesome sound & visual effects. It was so cool sitting in the back of the van with the surround sound.
UP was the 2nd feature. It was a really cute movie. Probably even better in 3-D.
This was the first time either Jason or I had been to the drive-in in 30+ years. Cerdwin's first trip and she was like a worm on hot coals. We took her lawn chair, but not one for either of us. We weren't exactly comfy sitting in the back of the van but it was OK. Next time we will take some chairs. We turned the van around and sat up front to watch UP.
It was a really late night/early morning. We didn't get home until about 3am. Jason & Cerdwin are both still snoozing at 12:15. We had a fun night though!
